Marketplace integration

noun

Topic: Stock, data and integrations

  1. A link between your own website and an online marketplace such as eBay, Etsy or Facebook Marketplace, so that listings, stock and orders can be shared between the two.
  2. Without one, you list every product twice, by hand, and risk selling the same last item in both places. With one, you add a product once, it appears in both, and stock stays in step. Marketplaces bring shoppers you would not otherwise reach, usually in exchange for fees, so it is worth knowing what each one costs before you list.

Example Thanks to the marketplace integration, a sale on eBay reduced the stock shown on her own website.
